These questions are Pinyacle’s interpretation for discussing work, not a way to assess people. Choose a specific example, listen to different perspectives and decide which change is worth testing in your organisation.
What does pinya mean?
The collective base surrounding and supporting the human tower.

What support makes visible work possible? Map the dependencies missing from the organisation chart: information, handovers, preparation and help.
What does tronc mean?
The vertical body of a human tower between its base and its top section.
A question for the team
What does the person doing the visible work need to fulfil their responsibility? Name the support and signals they must be able to communicate before the load becomes excessive.
What does folre mean?
A second support base above the pinya in certain human tower structures.

When does a more ambitious objective require additional coordination? Examine which support needs to grow with the work and which layer only adds an intermediary.
What does cap de colla mean?
The person responsible for leading a castells group’s technical activity.

How does a leader make decisions without replacing the people doing the work? Specify which signals they need, from whom and how early they need them to adjust the plan.
What does enxaneta mean?
The person who reaches the top of the castell and raises a hand in the aleta.

The sash worn around the waist as part of castells clothing.

To take part in the base of a human tower; also used to express mutual support and unity.

What does supporting one another mean in a specific situation? Replace the general phrase with an observable action: sharing information, covering a handover or asking for help in time.
What does descarregar mean?
To complete a human tower and bring it down without a fall.

When do we consider a job finished? Check whether the definition includes delivery, handover and the ability to sustain the result beyond its most visible moment.
